Obituary of Opal Malita Reeves

Opal Malita Bradley Reeves, 84, of the Deep Creek Community, went home to be with her Lord July 9, 2014. Born May 28, 1930, Opal was the daughter of the late Joseph Mont and Bonnie Bumgarner Bradley of the Wilmot/Qualla community. Opal retired after many years of service in the textile industry. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Harold Mont Bradley and three sisters, Gladys B. Clark, Orthrude (Gussy) Ball and Doris Whitted. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Clarence Reeves 2 Sons- Tommy of Bryson City and Mike (Wendy) of Albermarle, NC 8 Grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday July 12 at Deep Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Cogdill officiating. Interment will be at Morrow Cemetery. . .
