Obituary of Thomas Nelson Henson
Thomas N. Henson, 70, of Caney Fork, has gone home to be with his Lord Thursday July 10, 2014 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County he was the son of the late Alvin (Waye) and Alma Phillips Henson. He was a logger and construction worker who loved fishing and deer hunting and was a member of Johns Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Eloise Lovedahl Henson
2 Daughters- Vickie Brooks and her husband Marty of Cullowhee
Tina Bradley and her husband Jamie of Whittier
1 Son- Vernon Tracy and his wife Paula of Cullowhee
8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
1 Brother- Wiley and his wife Judy Henson
1 Sister- Kareen and her husband Steve Ogle all of Cullowhee
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday July 12 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Carl Adams officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 am prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lower Coward Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Kirkland, Jamie Bradley, Travis Coggins, Ernest Franks, Kelly Rowe and Andy Queen.
