Sue Duke, like most of the choicest Christians I've known, was gentle, quiet and willing to serve God and others from the shadows. When I was a student at WCU, she and Harry welcomed me into their home as if I were one of their own. Every week they would feed a few of us pizza and let us watch "60 Minutes" on their television. As greeters, Harry and Sue were the first faces and voices most people experienced as they came to Cullowhee Baptist. I never stopped being blessed by them....they took relationships very seriously. From there, a life long friendship matured. I will forever be in Sue's debt. When I get to heaven, I'll have her stir up a gallon or two of her famous iced-tea. We'll sip a glass together.
