Obituary of Jason Todd Lupo

Jason Todd Lupo, 38, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was a native of Jackson County, NC but was raised and went to Goose Creek High School in South Carolina. He was a loving Christian being baptized into the Baptist faith. He loved playing baseball, basketball and soccer and was an avid fan of the Carolina Panthers and South Carolina Gamecocks. He was a very passionate cook and loved cooking for his family and loved fishing. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Floyd and Edna Lupo as well as his maternal grandparents; Ralph York and Carrie York Allen. Jason is survived by his parents; Roy Lee (who Jason considered his best friend) and Dana Diana (York) Lupo of Goose Creek, SC. He is also survived by his son, Christian Donald Lupo, his daughter, Tara Lynn Lupo and his brother, Joshua Thomas Lupo of Goose Creek, SC... Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Locust Field Baptist Church in Sylva with the Revs. Eddie Stillwell and Roger Stewman officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday evening, December 5 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services. Burial will be in the Locust Field Baptist Church Cemetery. .
