Dear Family,
I am so sorry, but yet I am not. Gene lived a long and blessed life. But he greatly missed Maryann after her death. I loved him and cherished our conversations.
I felt honored to have followed him as the Postmaster of Whittier. He was respected and loved by many.
I'm sorry I won't be able to make the service.
Love in Christ.
