Obituary of Martha Alice Braswell

Martha Alice Braswell, 80, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Mission Hospital of Asheville, NC. Mrs. Braswell was born February 22, 1936 in Hornell, NY. She is the daughter of the late W.C. and the late Lorraine (Walther) Hunt. She loved spending time at the beach and in the mountains of Western North Carolina. She also loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Mike Braswell, and several brothers. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years: Felton Braswell; one son, Corky (Debby) Braswell; one daughter Julie (Reason) Wright; and one sister Lorraine Elise. 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Appalachian Funeral Services has been entrusted with all arrangements.
