Obituary of Casey Kent Pressley

Casey Kent Pressley, 69, of Tuckasegee passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 at his home in Tuckasegee. Casey was a lifetime resident of Jackson County. Mr. Pressley was born August 14, 1946 to the late Don L. and the late Anna (Franks) Pressley. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and telling jokes. Casey was also a Vietnam Veteran. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Eucella Pressley, Conrad Powell, and sister in law Charlotte Pressley. He is survived by his brother Harris (Faye) Powell of Sylva; Two daughters Michele (Keith) Pridmore of Sylva; Stephanie (Josh) Heatherly of Hendersonville; Two stepdaughters Sheila Owen, Vickie (Larry) Stephens of Tuckasegee. George Ruff, a friend of the family. 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service for Mr. Pressley will be announced at a later date.
