Obituary of Dallas Earl Davis

Dallas Earl Davis, 37, of Sylva, passed away Saturday August 6, 2016. A native of Indiana, he had resided in Jackson County most of his life. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and he loved all sports, especially the Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Braves. He loved spending time with his family and his friends and was an amazing husband and father. Dallas was preceded in death by his father Robert Davis and by his sister Angie. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Melissa Biddix Davis 1 Son- Austin Davis 1 Daughter- Brittney Davis both of the home Mother- Donna Maney of Whittier 2 Brothers- Mike Yates of Ohio and Daniel Maney of Whittier Grandmother- Marie Sitton of Sylva, Grandfather Ray Sitton 2 nieces and 4 nephews also survive Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday August 10 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Don Biddix officiating. The family will receive from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Appalachian Funeral Services to help with the services. . .
