Obituary of A B Shular

A B Shular, age 85, of Cullowhee died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Skyland Care Center in Sylva, NC. Mr. Shular was born April 1, 1926 in Jackson County. He was the son of the late Winton and the late Vena Price Shular and was preceded in death by his wife Rita Mae Shular. He was a member of Balsam Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by one daughter Carolyn Coggins of Cullowhee; two sons Leonard and Charlie Shular of Cullowhee; three brothers Eldon Shular of Cullowhee, Doyle and Prelo Shular of Sylva; one sister Eulala Shular of Cullowhee and seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Balsam Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Queen and Rev. Steve Webb officiating Burial will follow in Balsam Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours before the service at the church.
