Obituary of Betty Jean Feamster

Betty Jean Feamster, age 77, of Tuckasegee died Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Mission Hospital of Asheville, NC. Mrs. Feamster was born February 4, 1939 in Swain County, NC. She was the daughter of the late Dan and the late Maybelle (Smith) Feamster. She was a homemaker and worked along with her husband in the flea market business for many years. She also worked as an election poll worker and enjoyed gardening. She was a crafter and was a participant of the Dogwood Crafters Shop in Dillsboro. She is survived by her husband: Fred Feamster, three daughters: Deborah Taylor of Tuckasegee, and Lisa Hagen and Susan Feamster both of Greenville, NC, and one son: Danny Taylor also of Greenville; one sister: June H. Pilkey of Roberta, GA and two brothers: Crawford Honeycutt of Arlington, VA and Sammy Honeycutt of Gastonia, NC. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, Catlin and Kanyon of the home. The funeral will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 3rd at Appalachian Funeral Services Chapel, 165 Skyland Dr., Sylva, NC with Rev. Jeff Powell officiating.
