Obituary of Esther Nan Webster

Esther Nan Webster, age 92, of Whittier died Friday, October 7, 2016 at Skyland Care Center of Sylva, NC. Mrs. Webster was born August 20, 1924 in Big Pine, CA. She is the daughter of the late James Otis and the late LaRue (Braught) McIntosh. She was retired as a former black jack dealer. She was a poet and a painter and loved her family dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Bill Webster; along with one daughter: Kevin Palinkas; and one son: Joseph Webster. Three sisters and one brother also preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters: Dee Kennedy of Whittier, NC; and Toni McDavid of Myrtle Beach, SC, and one son: Gregory Hanson of Carson City, NV. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Appalachian Funeral Services and Crematorium is serving the family of Esther Nan Webster. . .
