It was a visible shock for me to see Lane's obituary in a recent issue of the Cashiers Chronicle. We shared the love of animals--especially dogs. We were in a Zumba class, walking class, and Sr. fitness together during the summers in Cashiers. I am a Puppy Raiser for Canine Companions for Independence. Lane was always supportive of following the needed protocol, and she shared her love of the pups with me. I will miss her! My thoughts, prayers and sympathy to you.
