Obituary of Joe Wesley Longwith

Joe Wesley Longwith, 83, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016. Mr. Longwith is the son of the late Lake and the late Ruth (Blackwell) Longwith. He loved being with his family, and spending time with his grandkids. He loved working on cars, and worked for Taylor Motor Company for 31 years. He also loved being able to help people. He served in the Navy during the the Korean war. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Beauford and Bobby Longwith; a very dear Reba Harring; and one daughter Cheryl. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Myrtice (Walker) Longwith; 2 daughters, Joy and Debbie; 4 Grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday November 3rd, 2016 from 6pm-7pm at Appalachian Funerla Home is Sylva. Burial will be in Miami Memorial Park, Miami, Florida Appalachian Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
