Our prayers are for the family. Veronica was a top graduate of the M. P. A. graduate program at Western Carolina University. Once I told her I did not think we had gotten any older and she simply smiled and brushed her grey hair with her hand. Her combination of realism, caring and romanticism has touched the lives of so many in our community. Every pet she got adopted or rescued had a special name and story.
