Obituary of Jeremiah Eugene Stewart

Jeremiah "Jeremy "Eugene Stewart, 33, of Cullowhee, went home to be with his Lord, Sunday December 18, 2016. Jeremy enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with his children and family and playing sports. He was a member of Yellow Mountain Baptist Church and had worked 12 ½ years for Jason Potts as a mason. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather James Eugene Stewart, maternal grandfather William Earvin Rice and an Uncle Bill Rice. He is survived by his mother; Melissa Rice Ledford of Sylva Father- Roger Stewart of Cashiers Step Dad- Tim Ledford of Cullowhee 2 Daughters- Charlotte and Mahalah 1 Son- Ryker The love of his life of 14 years- Jennifer Sherill Sister- Clarissa Cope of Bryson City Paternal Grandmother- Winnona "Nanny" Stewart, Maternal Grandmother- Nancy "Maw" Rice He is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and 3 nephews Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday December 22 at Yellow Mountain Baptist Church with the Revs Eddie Stillwell, Johnny Norris, Keith Ashe and Carl Stepp officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 Wednesday evening December 21 at Appalachian Funeral Services. .
