Obituary of James Carl Bryson

James Carl “JR” Bryson, Jr, age 60, passed away on December 30th in Sylva. He is the son of the late James Carl Bryson Sr and the late Pearl Franks Bryson and was married to the late Brenda Dills Bryson. He was disability retired and prior to his retirement, he was employed as a truck driver for Conmet. He was a member of the Cashiers/Glenville Fire Department and loved all types of racing. He is survived by one son; Jason James: and one daughter; Amanda Bryson: three grandchildren: and two stepchildren; Trevor and Michelle. He is also survived by four sisters; Leola Hunter, Freda Rogers, Linda Leopard, and Emma Sanders: and five brothers; Robert Bryson, Charles Bryson, Danny Bryson, Randy Bryson, and Hubert Bryson. He is further survived by several neices and nephews and a special nephew; Carl Bryson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2016 at 1:00 at the Hamburg Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Hamburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 4th from 6-8 pm at Appalachian Funeral services. Appalachian Funeral Services and Crematorium is serving the family.
