Obituary of Pauline Broom

Pauline Brown Broom, 80, of Tuckasegee, went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday evening January 11, 2017. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County she was the daughter of the late Claude and Bertie Ashe Brown. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, reading and gardening when she was able. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son Scott Broom and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 63 years William "Bill" Broom Daughter- Gwen Queen and her husband Eddie of Tuckasegee Granddaughter- Melanie Moody and her husband Tony of Sylva 3 Great Grandchildren- Samantha, Jacob and Jessica 1 Brother- Vaughn Brown of Tuckasegee Numerous nieces and nephews and cousins also survive. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and announced by Appalachian Funeral Services
