Obituary of Hermie Lee Sutton

Hermie Sutton, 83, of Dillsboro, NC went to be with her Lord Friday, January 27, 2017. She is the daughter of the late Austin Sutton and Minnie Pangle Sutton. She was married to the late William Clifton Sutton who passed away in 2012. Hermie enjoyed spending time outside working on her garden and flowers. She loved caring for her family and making sure everyone was taken care of. She is survived by four children, Vickie Webster (John) of Sumter, SC, Donna Monks of Maple Shade, NJ, Tammy Sutton of Dillsboro, NC and Tony Sutton (Inga) of Sylva, NC; three grandchildren, Madyson Sutton, Courtney Thompson and Aaron Webster; one great grandchild Fletcher Thompson; one sister Yvonne Parker and two brothers David and Donald Sutton. She is preceded in death by one sister Inez Smith and three brothers A.G Sutton, Vance Sutton and William Lee Sutton. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with Rev. Rusty Wolfrey officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Saturday, January 28, 2017. Burial will follow the service at Old Savannah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, INC., 30 East 33rd St. New York, NY 10016. Appalachian Funeral Services is handling arrangements.
