Obituary of Lorraine Beck

Emma Lorraine Beck, 77, went home to be with her Lord February 4th, 2017. She was a homemaker, child care giver, and longtime member of Hyatt’s Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jim Beck, parents, Ted and Evelyn (Queen) Raby. She was also preceded by brothers John, Tink, Buford, and J.D. Raby. Lorraine was survived by two sons; Garry (Magda) Beck, Scott (Tammy) Beck, two grandchildren; Andrew (Becky) Beck, Brandy (Matt) Helton, 3 great grandchildren; Elijah, River, and Kenzleigh. She was also survived by 4 brothers; Donald, Roger, Jerry, and Rob Raby, 6 sisters; Lottie, Opal, Linda, Ruth, Janie, and Brenda, as well as special friend Ann Ball. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 7th, 2017 from 2pm-3pm, with a service at 3pm in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home with the Reverends Eddie Stillwell, Steve Webb, and Dale Roberts officiating.
