I worked with Johnnie Ahlin at Professional Drug Store back in the late 60's and early 70's. Whenever James got a compound Rx at the Rexall, he would call me and I would go over to "help" him compound. This taught me more than I ever learned in school and I was there with Mark. What James taught me most was the meaning of professional colleague. I have never forgotten that and have tried to pass that on to all my students. Thanks for the memories.

I worked with Johnny Ahlin at Professional Drug Store and was a pharmacy school classmate of Mark. Whenever James would get a compound Rx, he would call me and I would go over to the "Rexall" and help make it. I learned more compounding that way and am still teaching interns in the same way. James had a great personality and always had a smile on his face for me. He taught me what it meant to be a professional colleague. My respect continues still. Tom

James made you feel as if you were the only one in a room full of people. His wit and candor will certainly be missed. He was a special person to me. They certainly don't make them like him anymore. James, one last goodby and don't fret about keeping that Marinol lit.

James worked @ my store for several years. He was one of the finest men I knew. Compassionate for our patients, and a great sense of humor. He was a great asset to me from a business perspective; I considered him a great friend, in addition. I am out of town this week-end, and can't attend the funeral services, but certainly have him and his family in my thoughts.
