Obituary of Estes Albert Burrell

Estes Albert Burrell, 72, of Tuckaseege passed away on February 22nd. He was the husband of the late Gwendell Burrell and the son of the late Roger and Bessie Ammons Burrell. He was retired as a Christmas tree farmer for Wolf Creek Tree Farms. He was a faithful member of Sols Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed landscaping and building trails. He also enjoyed wood crafting and particularly enjoyed visiting with his sisters. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one sister; Juanita Zerfoss, and two brothers; Marshall Burrell and Bill Clifton. He is survived by one daughter; Rhonda (Timothy) Williams and one granddaughter; Chastity Williams. He is also survived by four sisters; Norma Jean Galloway, Thelma (Larson) Alexander, Cora Lee Wood, and Dorothy Middleton. His favorite dog, Jazzy also survives. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, March 5th, at Sols Creek Baptist Church at pm. The family will speak to friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Sols Creek Baptist Church, 721 Sols Creek Church Rd, Tuckaseege, NC 28783. Appalachian Funeral Services and Crematorium is serving the family.
