Obituary of Harrett Gaye Dyson

Harrett Gaye Dyson, age 62, of 93 Windcrest Apt. 8, Sylva died Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Med West Harris of Sylva, NC. Mrs. Dyson was born May 11, 1949 in Darlington, SC. She is the daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Bonnoit) Atkinson. She is survived by her mother; three sons: Matt Dyson of Athens, Ga., Joe Dyson of Garden City, SC, and Chad Holley of New Orlean, LA; two daughters, Laura Smith of Sylva, and Rebecca West of Ringold, GA; one sister, Leigh D. Devilbiss of Garden City, SC; and three grandchildren. She was employed as a type setter. She was an avid reader, and loved to walk on the beach and collect shells. No services are planned at this time. Memorials are requested to the Salvation Army. . .
