Obituary of Joyce Marie Revis

Joyce Marie Revis, age 78, of Sylva, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Skyland Care Center of Sylva. Mrs. Revis was born September 29, 1938 in Whittier, NC. She was the wife of Claude Ray Revis and was the daughter of the late Julius and Evelyn Beck of Whittier. She was a retired nurse and a member of East Sylva Baptist Church. She enjoyed her computer and the games of Sudoku and Jumble along with camping and traveling. She is survived by her husband of 61 years; Claude Ray Revis, one daughter; Jenny (Richard) Kendrick of Conway, SC, one son; Jerry (Margaret) Revis, one grandson; Kyle Revis and one granddaughter; Payton Revis, all of Raleigh. No services are planned at this time. . In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to: Harris Lifepath Palliative Care and Hospice, 81 Medical Park Loop, Suite 204, Sylva, NC 28779. Appalachian Funeral Services and Crematorium is serving the family.
