Obituary of Billy Dean West

Billy Dean West, age 66, of Sylva passed Friday, March 31, 2017 in Asheville, NC. Billy was born August 10, 1950 in Jackson County, NC to the late Dock and Margie (Freeman) West. Billy is survived by two nephews Charles Freeman of Franklin, NC, Bennie Freeman of Franklin, NC, and one cousin Geraldine Beatman of Atlanta, GA. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 3, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Charles H. Lee officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm prior to the service. Appalachian Funeral Services are handling the arrangements.
