Obituary of Ann Aiken Jennings

Ann Aiken Jennings, age 62, of Cashiers passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at Highlands-Cashiers Hospital. Mrs. Jennings was born April 9, 1954 in Brevard, NC and was married to Hayse Jennings for 48 years. She was the daughter of the late J.D. Aiken and the late Jackie Snipes. She was a homemaker and a member of Cashiers Baptist Church. She loved to work in her flowers and was devoted to her boys, her grandchildren, and loved "that darn cat" Midnight. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother; Glenn Snipes. She is survived by her husband; Hayse Jennings, two sons; John (Berta) Jennings and Sam (Sandy) Jennings, and three grandsons; Michael Jennings, Jonathan Jennings, and C.J. Jennings. A memorial service celebrating her birthday will be held on Sunday, April 9th at Yellow Mountain Baptist Church at 1:00 pm with Rev Johnny Norris officiating. The family will speak to friends immediately following the services. Appalachian Funeral Services and Crematorium is serving the family.
