Obituary of Tarra Leo Wachacha

Tarra Wachacha, age 37, of Asheville passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Mission Hospital. Born November 3, 1979, she is the daughter of Willy and Nikole (Brooks) Fortner. She is survived by her husband Tighe Wachacha. Tarra loved being outdoors and near the ocean. She also enjoyed crafting, cooking and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Kaliya Wachacha and Bailee Blauser; her parents Willy and Nikole Fortner; one sister Trisha Pittman; one brother Cory Hooten; cousins Paige and Hailey Brooks; two dogs Shmu and Muggs and other special family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday April 20, 2017 at 2:00 pm at The Island in Cherokee, NC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Brother Wolfe Animal Rescue, 31 Glendale Ave, Asheville, NC 28803.
