Obituary of Richard Robert Rowe

Richard Robert Rowe, 64, of Cullowhee passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017. He was the husband of Glenna Rowe and the son of the late Orvil and Lily Rowe. Richard was a member of Cedar Baptist Church. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed playing music on his guitar. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, four brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 32 years; Glenna Rowe, two daughters; Amy (Jason) Bryson and Celenia Rowe as well as four granddaughters; Angel, Hailey, KC, and Abby. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 10th at Upper Coward Cemetery in Cullowhee at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jason Bryson and Rev. Roger Luker officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 9th from 6-8 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services, 165 Skyland Dr., Sylva, NC.
