Obituary of Lessie Franks

Lessie Hall Franks, 91, of Sylva, passed away on Sunday, July 9th 2017. She was the wife of the late Rev. Don Franks and the daughter of the late Hershal and Hattie Hall. In addition to her parents, Lessie is preceded in death by two sons; Donald and George Franks. She is survived by one son, J.D. Franks of Sylva. Four grandchildren, Kim McCall, Gina Smith and husband Travis, Kristie Frady and husband Darick and Tommy Franks all of Sylva. Seven great grandchildren, Kayla Evans and husband Andrew, Brandon Franks and wife Natalie, Tisha Biddix and husband Mark, Kristina Frady, Morgan Biddix, Jared McCall and Dylan Franks. Six great great grandchildren Austin Riddle, Jasper Evans, Ava, Aiden and Arian Biddix and a grandson on the way. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Old Savannah Baptist Church with the Revs. Darick Frady, Eddie Stillwell and Austin Frady officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
