Obituary of Peggy Darlene Brown

Peggy Darlene Brown, of Tuckasegee, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her father, Marshall Brown. Darlene is survived by her husband, Thurman; daughter, Kristi Norris and husband Charlie; and grandson, Evan Norris. She is also survived by her mother, Reba Brown; two sisters, Marketta Messer (Wade) and Cathey Mathis (Herman); a brother, Michael Brown (Joann); a sister-in-law, Mozell Ashe; two brothers-in-law, Truman Brown and Avery Brown (Nancy); an uncle, Vaughn Brown (Coleen); an aunt Ruby McCoy; a life-long friend, Geraldine Brown; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs Kate and Rascal. Darlene was an avid fisher, loved her flowers and never met a stranger. She was adored by her family and friends and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. . .
