Obituary of Euel Tracy Johnson

Euel T. Johnson, a native of Pierce County Georgia, passed away on Friday July 21, 2017, at his home in Sylva, NC. Euel was 89 years old and was the son of the late Tracy Acosta Johnson and Jeannette Waters Johnson. He was a graduate of Blackshear High School and Georgia Southern University. During his career he held several management positions with Ford Motor Credit Company from which he retired in 1984. Euel was also a U.S. Navy Veteran. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his son, Glenn Johnson, a brother; Horace A. Johnson and a sister; Nell Lamar. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Billie Jean Seymour Johnson Daughter- Julie Johnson-Busbin (James Walker Busbin) 4 Grand Children- Davis, Reid, Eva and Emma Funeral Services will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday July 25, in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Dr. Dana Bunn officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 am Thursday July 27 in Blackshear Cemetery in Blackshear Georgia. . .
