Obituary of Edward Daniel Bailey

Edward Daniel Bailey, 89, passed away Wednesday August 9, 2017. He is the son of the late Edward and Estelle Bailey. He is survived by his loving companion of 16 years Juanita Turpin. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was retired Fire Chief from the Ft. Lauderdale Fire Department where he served for 29 years. He is survived by one son Eddie Bailey and wife Aileen of League City, TX and one granddaughter Danielle Bailey Solone. Funeral Services will be held Saturday August 12, 2017 at 12:00pm at Hyatt's Chapel with Rev. Mike Moore officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow service at Gunter Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brad Parris, Chad Parris, Donald Raby, Robin Young, Rick Gunter, Leonarda Yerena and Louis Yerena. Appalachian Funeral Services are handling arrangements for the family.
