To Christine and Jerry Friesner,
My dad was Billie Lowe. I do believe a cousin to Christine. He just recently passed on August 31, 2019. As I have been going through his things I could tell he was blessed to write letters back and forth to Christine and Jerry through the years. I am so appreciative that he was able to keep up with family. When I was a child I remember visiting their home with my Mom and Dad.
In Christ, Gayle Williams (Lowe)

I loved Chris from the first time I met her at Asheville Cotton Company. We shared a bond through sewing and she was so easy to love because of her smile and warm heart. I'm so sad to loose her and I will always miss her. I'll keep her family in my prayers.

Jerry, I am so very sorry to hear about Chris's death. I saw you both recently in Bryson City, enjoying a meal. I hope her passing was peaceful. She is undoubtedly leading a walking group or sharing session in heaven as I write this. I am honored to have known and been mentored by her for many years. Our contact was mainly through community service activities; and she was a true model for what "service" means. Her smile was always present and contagious! Blessings to you and your family.

Chris was a shining smile who was always thinking of others and doing kind things for everyone.
I have a long list of memories of her relationship with Charlie in the HPER Dept and her kindness to me and our family.
I loved how she would sing in the choir and would sing Tenor in the community chorus when there were not enough men to get it done.
Chris with her sewing quilting skills created much beauty for herself and others. She was always willing to help and always friendly and kind to all. Thank you Chris for bringing grace and sweetness to our world. missing you.....

Christine was such a fine lady. She was my first Advisor after high school when I started Western. When I returned to school, she helped me so much in choosing a new major with the credits I had. I then went on to get a Masters. I got to know her again in the church. I will miss her smile. My heart goes out to her family.

Chris, "Mrs. Friesner" was my Health and PE teacher when I was a freshman at WCU in 1970. I remembered her very fondly over the years and was joyful to find her at Cullowhee United Methodist Church choir when I joined there about five years ago. What fun it was to get to know and appreciate her as a friend and fellow music lover.
She will be greatly missed.
