Obituary of Guy Willard McElroy

Guy "Trey" McElroy, III, age 37, of Sylva passed Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Guy was born April 23, 1980 in Sylva, NC. He is the son of the late Guy McElroy Jr. He is survived by his mother Jeanne (Sutton) McElroy. He was a devoted father, partner, son and brother. He is survived by his partner Brandy Anders; two sons Liam and Cayden McElroy; two step children Stetson and Levi Breeden; one sister Stephanie Leija and husband Mack; one nephew Macrae Leija; partners father Larry Vanover and mother Kathy Lyda; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents J.B and Sylvia (Boulet) Sutton; paternal grandparents Willard and Margaret McElroy; two uncles Boyd and John Kenneth Sutton. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
