Obituary of David Warren Hooper

Warren Hooper, 78 of Cullowhee passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Maggie Valley Nursing Home. A resident of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Joe and Annie Moody Hooper of Cullowhee. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, William Glenn Hooper. He is survived by his wife, Ann, two daughters Jenny Lynn of Sylva and Ebbi Hastings of Cullowhee; one son David Hooper of Monroe, NC; three grandchildren, Shelby Banks, David Wesley Hooper and Branson Stillwell. He worked 34 years for Fluor Corporation in Project Management. He loved to travel and collect antiques. A memorial services will be held at 4:00pm Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Appalachian Funeral Services with Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30 till 4:00. Appalachian Funeral Services are handling arrangements.
