Obituary of Robert Calvin Mills

Robert Calvin Mills Jr., age 69, of Sylva died Thursday, November 23, 2017 with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Mary Robinson Mills and the son of the late Calvin and Irene (Cope) Mills. He was retired from Jackson Paper as a Paper Maker. He was a member of Woodmen of the World and was a volunteer with the National Park Service. He was passionate about camping and hiking and enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by four daughters; Lee Anne (Kenneth) Burrell, Angela Barfield Oates, Paula (David) Coggins, and Cynthia (Jeff) Messer and one sister; Paulette Mills Hall. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. No services are planned at this time per Robert's request.
