Audrey was very special and helped so many people. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
She was a special soul and was so helpful with our Grandmother, Amy Jones.

Beverly, I was so very sorry to read about your mom’s passing. She was an important part of my life while we were in high school, and I so appreciated her support of all students aspiring to succeed. The band program wouldn’t have been the same without her efforts. You are in my thoughts.

Mrs. Tritt was a phenomenal lady. Many days I would stop by her office just to say hello and receive a genuine smile with a returned hello. She kept the humanity in high school education.
She will live forever as one of my best and closest counselors.

So many great memories from the time I was a little girl, living across the street from you all, to the time I left Sylva in 2001 of your mom/grandmother/great grandmother. I am so sorry for your loss but so thankful that Audrey lived such a long and very successful, productive life and that she was surrounded and wrapped in love by her family when she departed for her next journey. My deepest condolences and prayers are with you as you moved through the coming days without her presence.

Mrs. Tritt was often the only voice of reason and guidance some of us heard growing up. Caring but firm. She had a lasting impact on me and will be remembered. Great Leader, teacher and friend. Mrs Tritt, you would probably be really surprised where I ended up. I think you might have been proud. R.I.P.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, but Heaven has gained a jewel! Although it's hard to let go, we have the reassurance that we will be with our loved ones again, soon!
The precious Noah's Ark quilts your mom and Louise made together for the boys (Paxton & Trey) will forever be a hallmark of the genuinely, loving characteristic your mom portrayed.
May God provide your family with peace and strength for the coming days and grasp tightly to the wonderful memories you have made!
Blessings~

It saddens me to here of the loss of such an awesome woman. She has given so much to so many and never asked for anything in return. To think of all of the students, community members and friends she helped along the way though life. To my family she was a sister to my mother and a second mother to me. I’m thankful for the positive advice and influence she gave me, I wish I had listened and followed her words more often because she was always right.
“Aunt Jane, Aud and Ms Tritt” will be greatly missed. My condolences to her family.

Dear Family
I am so sorry for the grief you are experiencing as a result of your mother's passing. I know you are glad that she is no longer suffering.
Mrs. Tritt was my supervising teacher when I did my student teaching at Sylva Webster. She and I were among the first brave women teachers at S-W to wear slacks to teach in. About 3 or 4 of us agreed to all wear slacks one day. Amazingly all who had agreed to wear them kept our word and showed up in slacks instead of dresses or skirts. So I guess you could say "we were fashion rebelers of our day.
I enjoyed seeing you girls involved in athletics. All very good. I know how proud your mom was of all of you children and grandchildren. I will keep you in my prayers.

Audrey was a light (and a rock) during my high school years as her neighbor and as a student at Sylva-Webster - and she was a delight every time I saw her for years after. She was the perfect combination of no-nonsense and fun. She bounced between the two without effort. Her eyes twinkled when she laughed & smiled and they remained soft when she realigned me, as a teenager, between two straight lines. I can only imagine how many lives she touched. Certainly mine. My heart is happy with memories when I walk daily by the Keener Street house that she made into a home. Thank you, Audrey.
