Obituary of David Allen Webb

David Alan Webb, 56, of Glenville, NC was called home to be with his Saviour on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 while at his home in Glenville. He was a native to and dearly loved these beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. He was the son of Anne Webb and the late Clyde Webb of Lake Toxaway and Betty Frady of Sylva. He will be remembered by his love of life. His desire to make others happy. His passion for the outdoors, horses and his Native American family. His mark is left behind through the rock masonry he so beautifully created from Transylvania through Jackson counties and surrounding states. Survivors include a son, Josh Webb (Diane), a granddaughter, Savannah, of Spartanburg SC, three sisters, Sharon Bradley (Chuck), Donna Webb and Shirley Meece (Randy) of Lake Toxaway; twelve nieces and nephews; several beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Appalachian Funeral Home, Sylva. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at 10:00.
