Obituary of Margie Marcella Sutton

Margie Green Sutton, 89, of the Savannah Community, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday March 13, 2012 at MedWest Harris Hospital in Sylva. Born and raised in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Leamon and Gracie Hall Green. She was a Member of The Wesleyanna United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed playing piano and singing in the choir. She enjoyed baking cakes for her many friends and family. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband William Guy Sutton, her daughter, Junell Grace, a brother Ray Green, and a sister Doris Barron. She is survived by a Brother- Morrison Green of Sylva, 3 Sisters-Bennie Green of Sylva, Jane Hughes of Mills River and Juanita Ward of Asheville. 2 Sister-in-laws- Gladys Cabe and Bobbi Messer As well as several nieces and nephews that also survives. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 16, 2012 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Revs. Charles Jackson and Tom Lavin officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 till 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be made to the Wesleyanna United Methodist Church, in c/o Joe Dietz, 938 Tathams Creek Rd, Sylva, NC 28779. Pallbearers will be Tommy Sutton, Stanley Green, John Cabe, Colby Green, Tim Barron and Keith Messer . .
