Obituary of Sidney Earl Burrell

Sidney Earl Burrell, 62, of Sylva died January 27. Mr. Burrell was born September 15, 1955 in Transylvania County. He is the son of the late Marshall Earl and the late Betty (Mathis) Burrell. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters; Elaine, Linda Sue, and Sherry, and a brother, Stacey. He is survived by his wife: Kathy (Conner) Burrell ; a son, Travis (Kayla); a step daughter, Melissa Bowers, 2 granddaughters, and 2 step grandsons; sisters, Peggy Middleton and Marcie McFalls. The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 31 at Appalachian Funeral Services. Burial will be in Sols Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Tuckasegee. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. .
