Eddie and family,
Sorry to hear of Mitch's death. Not many of us left who went to the old Savannah school. May God bless you and your family.

I got to know Marshall during the years my mother was a resident at Mountain View Manor. What a gentleman! Even though my mother had difficulty communicating, he always took time to recognize her and give her a smile. He told me about the many cards that he often received from members of his church, and it was evident that he cared much for his church. I count it a privilege to have gotten to know him. Please know that even in the last, difficult times of Marshall's life he touched the lives of those around him. Blessings to his family.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family. It is so sad when we lose a love one in death. The Bible speaks of death as an enemy that God’s kingdom will eliminate. Notice the wonderful promise for the future at 1 Cor.15:26“. And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” God will remove death permanently. You can also find comfort in Jesus words at John 5:28-29 “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” May these scriptures bring comfort and calmness of heart to you at this time..
