Obituary of Ashley Bannerman

Ashley Bannerman, age 30, of 207 Jim Sellers St. in Sylva passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 4th, 2018. Ashley was disabled from birth, but she was always a happy girl and a blessing to all who came to know and love her. She enjoyed listening to music and being talked to. She was preceded in death by her father; Claudia Bannerman and grandfather; Cecil Smith. She is survived by her mother; Ann Bannerman of Greenwood, SC, her meme; Frances Smith of Sylva, NC, and her aunt; Jamie Smith of Kuwait. She is also survived by her special mommy; Wendy Smith of Sylva, NC, who has cared and loved her as her own child for the past twenty-one years in her home. Ashley's presence and beautiful smile will be missed tremendously, but knowing that her body is restored and with Jesus and all her special friends that have gone before her brings us peace. . .
