Obituary of Opal Doris Tunnell
Opal Doris Tunnell, age 98, of Sylva formally of Franklin passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at Skyland Care Center of Sylva, NC. She is the daughter of the late Howard and Goldie Douglas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vaughan Tunnell.
She is survived by one son Gene Tunnell of Cullowhee; one daughter Doris Volbrecht of Jacksboro, TN; two grandsons Mark Tunnell of Rome, GA and David Volbrecht of Orlando, FL.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church in Franklin, NC.
