Obituary of Catherine Vosecky

Catherine Vosecky, age 91, of Cullowhee died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at home in Cullowhee. Catherine( Aunt Picky) was born February 15, 1921 in Parkton, NC. She is the daughter of the late James Lineberry and the late Catherine (Watson) Jenkins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gene Vosecky; a sister Neill Burrus, and a brother, Jay Jenkins. Catherine worked as a teacher's aide, she sang in the church choir, she enjoyed watercolor painting, and studying the Bible. She was a member of the Cullowhee Baptist Church. She is survived by her son Bill and his wife, Barbee Vosecky of Senoia, GA; two daughters, Jeanne and her husband, Max White of Alto, GA, and Kate Vosecky of Chapel Hill, NC; a sister, Betty Washburn of Boiling Springs, NC; four grandchildren, and various nieces and nephews. A celebration of Catherine's life will be held at the Cullowhee Baptist Church Saturday March 31, 2012 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 PM prior to the Service at the Church . Flowers may be sent or Memorials can be made to Cullowhee Baptist Church in Catherine's name. . .
