I am so sorry to hear of Randy's passing. I Have played my Banjo with him in Bryson City & monthly at Oconaluftee Music Jams. Randy was a blessing. He inspired me to practice my Banjo. I always enjoyed playing with him. It will be a big loss for all those who had the privilege of knowing & playing with him. Prayers God Bless

I am so sorry to hear of Randy's passing. Having him join our monthly Oconaluftee Music Jams was a blessing. He inspired me to practice guitar and his advice helped me improve as time passed. I always enjoyed seeing him. His warm smile, musical talent, and genuine love of life will be a big loss for all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

To Noree and family - we are at a loss for words to express our sense of loss and sadness for Randy. He was an incredible person and his love and devotion to our music program at Oconaluftee was so cherished. All who knew him was blessed to have played music with him and loved his kind, gentle, easy going nature and personality. He was a main-stay and was my right hand support and encouragement. His talent and skills were such an asset to the music jam. Death can rob us of breath and life for our corruptible mortal bodies and can separate us for awhile, but it cannot destroy or take away the beautiful memories of the time we were given and blessed to spend with Randy, nor can it rob us of the promise of eternal life and the heavenly jam where we will play on instruments than never need to be tuned, or never grow tired, weary, sick or hungry. God bless you and supply your every need. Bill and Judy Sipes
