Obituary of Bedell Myrtle Rogers

Bedell Brendle Rogers, age 90, of Webster passed away on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at Harris Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late Clyde Rogers and the daughter of the late Floyd and Myrtle Brendle. 

She was a member of Laurel Branch Baptist Church. Bedell loved the Highway 441 Flea Market and working word search puzzles. She loved to sew and retired as a seamstress from the textile industry.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Columbus and Floyd Brendle, and two sisters; Beulah Downes and Suddie Sitton.

She is survived by one daughter; Rhonda Gail (Kieth) Mann of Brevard and two grandsons; Johnny Mann of Marion and Jerry (Jennifer) Mann of Brevard. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; Garrett, Dalton and Britney Mann, along with two step great grandchildren; Taylor (Hannah) Goldsmith and Zachary Goldsmith. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

   Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, May 21st at Appalachian Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Eddie Stillwell and Rev. Mike Meadows officiating.  The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Webster Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the staffs of Skyland Care Center and Harris Regional Hospital for their wonderful care of Bedell.
