To The Family,
As a volunteer minister, I view obituary columns on a regular basis. My goal is to make an earnest effort to comfort the surviving family members. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Mr. Jerry Lee Connor, nor do I know his family, but I do know that when a loved one falls asleep in death, it hurts so very much. God's Word the Bible helps to ease the pain. When the Son of God, Jesus Christ, walked the earth he performed many miracles such as curing thousands of people of all kinds of sicknesses. The Lord Jesus even resurrected the dead back to life. (John11:43,44) Jesus performed these miracles to give the people faith and to magnify his Father, Jehovah God. (Matthew 26:39) In the very near future Jesus will perform these same miracles but this time on a worldwide basis. We all look forward to the day when Jesus Christ uses his God-given power to resurrect all of our deceased loved ones back to life in God's new world. (John 5:28,29) I hope that the above scriptures eases your pain and I am so sorry concerning the passing of your loved one.
