Obituary of Joshua William Hannah

Joshua William Hannah, 22, of Jackson County, passed away Wednesday June 13, 2018. An active soldier in the U.S.Army, he had played football, wrestled and ran track at Smoky Mountain High School, which he graduated in 2015. He enjoyed being outdoors and being the life of the party, he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father; Travis Hannah, grandfather; Frank Copeland and uncle; Xavier Jones He is survived by his son- Jace William Wooten of Franklin Mother- Kristy Hannah of Whittier Memaw- Sandra Hannah of Hahira, GA 2 Sisters - Cheyanne Hannah of Cullowhee and Jazmin Johnson of Hahira, GA Brother- Andrew Wheatley of Jacksonville, FLA Adoptive sister- Kiara Taylor of Murphy, NC Very special friend- Brooklyn Hensley of Cullowhee 3 Aunts- Shane Eichholz (Sandi) of Guyton, GA, Karen Boggs of Cherokee, Ashley Copeland of Valdosta, GA Paternal Grandmother- Mary Copeland of Valdosta, GA 2 Uncles- Bernard Copeland and Travis Woods both of Valdosta, GA Numerous cousins also survive A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 pm Friday June 15 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Shane Roughton officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. .
