Obituary of Linda D. Bowers

Linda D. Bowers, age 61, of Sylva passed away on Thursday, June 14th, 2018. She was the wife of Nelson Bowers and the daughter of the late Ed and Mary Conner. 

Linda attended Sunrise House of Worship in Dillsboro, NC and loved to work in her flower gardens. She dearly loved her family and especially loved her grandbabies and great grandbabies.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sons; Lee Bowers and Michael Paul Bowers and one sister.

Linda is survived by her husband; Nelson Bowers and two daughters; Connie (Billy) Mills and Crystal Hoxit. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one sister.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, June 17th, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the Laurel Branch Cemetery in Bryson City, NC. Rev. Tim Dillard and Rev. Jason Broom will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Appalachian Funeral Services to help with funeral expenses.
