Those of us lucky enough to know Bernice (Bud) Higdon are going to miss this wonderful woman. Bud, who loved to dance and listen to most any music she could dance to, Bud the elementary school teacher that always wanted to open the eyes of the children she taught, Bud, open to all people, "never knew a stranger" and Bud the very generous person that took me and Melissa in, when we were traveling in the west. Bud, gave us the run of her house and fridge. She took us to the capital to meet the governor Ronald Reagan. ( we did see him). She took us to a place in Nevada to gamble and gave us some nickles that we lost very quickly. ( Lesson learned.) She showed us many wonders of Central California. And most of all we will miss this very sweet lady, Bud. My heart goes out to you Krista, you made her elder years so special.
