Obituary of Alvin Leon Hall

Alvin Leon Hall, 68, of Sylva, passed away Wednesday morning April 4, 2012 at his residence. A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Willie Lewis and Pauline McDonald Hall. Alvin was a member and deacon of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Mary Jones Hall, Son-Chad Hall and 3 Grandchildren Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday April 6, 2012 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Earl Holden and the Rev. David Harris officiating. Burial will be in Ochre Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 PM prior to the service the funeral home. Honorary pall bears will be the Deacons of Mount Pleasant Church . .
